Job Title: Japanese & Korean Cuisine Chef (Local Hiring Only – Saudi Arabia)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and creative Japanese & Korean Cuisine Chef currently residing in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience preparing authentic Japanese and Korean dishes, maintaining high food quality, and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook authentic Japanese and Korean dishes (e.g., sushi, sashimi, ramen, bibimbap, Korean BBQ).

• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and taste.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen according to hygiene standards.

• Manage food preparation, portion control, and inventory.

• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

• Monitor food stock and place orders when necessary.

• Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations in Saudi Arabia.

• Innovate and contribute new menu ideas when required.

Requirements

• Must be currently residing in Saudi Arabia (local hiring only).

• Proven experience as a Japanese or Korean chef (2+ years preferred).

• Knowledge of traditional and modern Japanese & Korean cuisine.

• Ability to handle sushi preparation and Korean grilling techniques is a plus.

• Familiarity with food safety standards (HACCP knowledge preferred).

• Good communication skills (basic English required; Arabic is a plus).

• Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Culinary diploma or relevant certification.

• Experience in hotels, fine dining, or high-volume restaurants.

• Multinational kitchen experience.
