General Chef – KSA Based (Filipinos – Nepalese – Indians)
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative General Chef with proven experience in the Saudi Arabian market to join our team. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in preparing a wide variety of international and local dishes while maintaining exceptional food quality, presentation, and kitchen operations standards. Saudi residency is mandatory, and applicants must present a professional portfolio showcasing previous culinary work and concepts.
Key Responsibilities
-Prepare, cook, and present a diverse range of dishes in accordance with company standards and customer expectations.
-Develop and innovate menu items that align with local market preferences and international culinary trends.
-Ensure consistency in taste, quality, portioning, and presentation of all food items.
-Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation schedules, inventory planning, and staff coordination.
-Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation in compliance with KSA regulations.
-Control food costs, minimize waste, and ensure efficient use of ingredients and kitchen resources.
-Collaborate with management teams on menu engineering, promotions, and special events.
-Train, supervise, and motivate junior kitchen staff when required.
-Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure all workstations are properly maintained and organized.
-Ensure timely food preparation and smooth kitchen workflow during busy operations.
Required Qualifications & Experience
-Saudi Residency (Iqama) is mandatory.
-Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience as a General Chef, preferably within the Saudi market.
-Strong knowledge of international cuisines, food preparation techniques, and kitchen management.
-Understanding of local customer preferences and food trends in KSA.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
-Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
-Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and passion for culinary excellence.
Portfolio Requirement
-Applicants must provide a professional portfolio showcasing previous culinary work.
-Portfolio may include high-quality photos of dishes, menus, concept work, or signature creations.
-Experience working with restaurants, hotels, cafés, catering companies, or hospitality brands in KSA is highly preferred.
